With now over a decade of cleaning experience with all types of solar PV installations, we have come across many different challenges along the way. A memorable task that we had was this roof elevation pictured below.
As you can see there was a large organic growth issue, causing the panels to massively underperform. Our process of treating the growth, removing it and finally cleaning the panels with our purified deionised water, managed to get this client a 300% increase in productivity. This type of organic growth can quickly develop over damp cold spells, which is unfortunately becoming a regular pattern with our weather, where organic surroundings are present. This client has agreed a fixed annual cleaning service to keep their system working efficiently all year round.
